The terms for using the Threadback website, browser extension, and Pro license.
Acceptance of terms
By installing the Threadback extension, using this website, or activating a Pro license, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service and your license
Threadback is a local-first browser extension that searches your own AI conversation history. The free tier enables up to 2 platforms at once; Pro lifts that cap, and no features are gated behind Pro. A Pro license may be activated on up to 3 devices and is for your personal use.
Payments and Merchant of Record
Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, which handles checkout, billing, invoices, and applicable taxes. Your payment contract is with the Merchant of Record. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not resell, share, or redistribute license keys, attempt to circumvent license validation, or reverse-engineer the extension to bypass its limits. Abuse may result in revocation of your license without refund.
Intellectual property
Threadback and its content are protected by intellectual-property rights. Your license is non-exclusive and non-transferable, and grants no rights beyond using the software as intended.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an as-is basis, without warranties of any kind. Threadback reads your own data through your own logged-in sessions; third-party platform APIs may change at any time and temporarily break syncing. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
